About the Photographer

What makes me tick? My wonderful wife, the hardest working mom I could ever imagine. My three kids, who somehow both keep me young and give me gray hairs at the same time. I love showing them the world. I love my wife’s amazing cooking. I love that my kids are three distinct personalities. A brain, a heart, and a bulldozer.

Motorsports were my original introduction to photography. I was a kid who attended a lot of races, and my mom had one of those “fancy” cameras for her work at the newspaper. I asked how it worked, and started my attendance at the school of hard knocks. I was shooting 7 rolls of film per night back then, and it was 3 races before I had one single, usable photo.

After a few years at the race track, I found myself pursuing other interests. I would eventually spend a total of 14 years away from the track, at all. Somewhere in that hiatus, I found my hobby growing beyond anything I’d imagined. I had people asking me to photograph their cars, their families, their weddings! I found myself in circles of club racers and exotic car collections, photographing everything from early Ford Model A hotrods, to one of the first Ferraris ever built, to Lamborghinis so new, the shoot was delayed while we waited for it to arrive off the boat from Italy.

In 2014, I found myself back in the presence of the very race cars that introduced me to photography. I plugged myself back in, found new ways to connect with race car drivers and owners, and never looked back. Social media has changed everything, and I’ve made the most incredible connections across the world, and have surrounded myself with so many amazing individuals.

I’m a gearhead at heart. Cars were my first passion. I still own my first car, a 1966 Ford Fairlane 500. I strive to capture the thrill of driving in my images. The connection with the road. The artistry of a beautiful build. The engineering and the craftsmanship in the details. The thrill of speed. The intensity in competition. There’s nothing I love more than telling a story.

Phone, email, text, Facebook, IG, LinkedIn… there are many ways to contact me. I’d love to hear your story or talk to you about a project I can help you complete.
